Current Work
Over the past years I have struggled with insomnia. That inspired my research and writing on the history of spirituality of sleep and sleeplessness. This article was published, “When Sleep is Elusive: The Spiritual Consequences and Means Towards Coping With Insomnia” in the Journal of Spiritual Formation and Soul Care.
This inspired my current project of collecting evening hymns and prayers from across the centuries of the church on sleep and sleeplessness. This book is under contract with IVP Academic.
